KENTUCKY BOARD OF LICENSED DIABETES EDUCATORS

The Kentucky Board of Licensed Diabetes Educators examines and licenses all eligible candidates for entry into the profession of Diabetes Educators. It recommends appropriate changes in the law to assure fairness and equality. The board is a self-supporting agency and receives no General Fund tax appropriation. It is funded entirely through fees assessed for licensing its professionals.

Governor Beshear has established the Team Kentucky Emergency Relief Fund to assist Kentuckians impacted by catastrophic events. All donations to the Team Kentucky Emergency Relief Fund are tax-deductible, and donors will receive a receipt for tax purposes after donating. This fund is fully transparent and is subject to open records and legislative oversight. There are no administrative fees, so every dollar helps Kentuckians.
